Everything begin in a small island in Greece, called Karpathos. It was an idea of middle-aged (33 years old) man called Minas Manolakas. Minas Manolakas is married to a woman called Eleni Fotiadou and they have 2 kids, Ilias and Thomas. Minas used to work for other restaurants in the United States of America, that lived many years and after he used to work in Greece.
Minas decided to open his own restaurant because really loved to cook and he always wanted people to see and taste his tasteful appetizers and main dishes. Minas opened his first restaurant at 2006 and he did a perfect job. With the money that he earned that year, he decided to open a bigger restaurant so there would be more space for chairs and tables. At 2007, the grand opening of the restaurant was a big success.
Minas thought that a good name for the restaurant would be "MESOGIOS" because the restaurant was in front of the sea. After 7 years, Minas created good connections with people all over the world and he is famous for his "Greek tapas."
